A3 sells a broad variety of headworks screening equipment, ranging from rotary brush fine screens to bar screens. We partner with NRW to provide the Contec fine screening line, as well as producing and selling our own A3 line of screens.

Internal Rotary Drum Screen

The NRW Contec rotary drum screen provides extremely reliable and cost-effective fine screening for MBR and other applications. All A3-USA MBRs come with Contec screens.

Multi-Rake Bar Screen

The A3 "CBS" multi-rake bar screen is ideal for in-channel pre-treatment of wastewater. Using rakes to continuously clean the screening bars, the CBS screen is available in a variety of standard or custom sizes.

Channel Screw Screen

The A3 shaftless screw screen offers wastewater screening and transport of solids in a practical and efficient package. Perforated plate or wedgewire screens retain solids, which are lifted and transported by the screw. Brushes continually clean the screening area. Available in a variety of standard and custom sizes.

Channel Rotary Drum Screen

The A3 rotary drum screen is ideal for high-volume in-channel applications. The rotating drums - available in both wedgewire and bars - provide screening, while continually being cleaned by stationary brushes. Available in a variety of standard and custom sizes.

Step Screen

The A3 CSS step screen is a channel screen that uses a set of fixed and stationary "steps" to remove and gently transport solids from a wastewater stream. The step screen uses two sets of parallel bars that form "steps" - one that is moving and one that is stationary. The moving set of steps reside in the spaces between the bars of the stationary set of steps.

Perforated Plate Screen

The A3 CPS perforated plate screen is another option for in-channel pre-treatment of wastewater. Using brushes to continuously clean the screening plate, the CPS screen is available in a variety of standard or custom sizes.
